What Is Equine Assisted Training?
Equine assisted training is an experiential learning
process in which horses are the medium to facilitate the achievement of goals. Equine assisted training is more conducive to learning than the traditional classroom
setting because it is highly participatory and learning is
immediately applied. BBR employs a skilled and diverse team of wranglers, seasoned horse people, corporate facilitators, and certified equine assisted learning (EAL) specialists who will create a customized program to meet each client's needs. The majority of training
activities are conducted on the ground so people of all horse-related skill levels benefit. No prior horse
experience is necessary.
Why Use Horses In Human and Organizational Training?
Horses are exceptional creatures that have an inherent ability to evoke human potential.
Horses are incredibly perceptive beings. They have an awareness of and sensitivity to their surroundings and non-verbal cues. Horses give immediate and honest feedback which can show you what you need to change in order to achieve your goals.
Horses don't care about a person's position, power, status or title. They are acutely perceptive, totally
honest and have no hidden agendas. Horses accurately sense and respond to your level of trust, confidence, awareness, and interpersonal skills. Horses offer you
insight into and demonstrate how you can be more
successful in personal and professional relationships.
